Environmental Program


The Yurok Tribe Environmental Program's (YTEP) mission is to protect the lands, air and water resources of the Yurok Reservation for the benefit of current and future generations of tribal members.

YTEP staff utilize science, traditional knowledge and environmental regulation for the purposes of enhancing tribal sovereignty and expanding environmental regulatory authority of the Tribe to promote and protect these resources within the Yurok Reservation.

Non Point Source Pollution Assessment Report and
Management Plan

The Yurok Tribe is revising its Non Point Source Pollution Assessment Report and Management Plan. This document is available for public review and comment from December 20, 2012 to January 20, 2012. Hard copies are available for viewing at the Klamath and Weitchpec Tribal Offices and electronically. Comments will be accepted in writing or electronically. Please submit comments by Monday January 21, 2013 at 5pm.
