Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons epidemic, as well as oversee and implement policy initiatives relevant to
this goal. The Chief Prosecutor/Director will supervise the implementation of Special Domestic Violence Criminal

The Administrative Attorney will participate in the overall planning, development, and implementation of the Tribe’s short- and long-term goals as they relate to the Tribal Court and the services provided therein. The Administrative Attorney is responsible for maintaining and improving the delivery of assigned Tribal Court Services including the management of projects and supervision of staff. The Administrative Attorney works closely with the Yurok Tribe Chief Judge, Associate Judge, Court Director, Supervising Staff Attorney(s) and Court Program Managers.

Position Summary: This position is under the direct supervision of the Yurok Tribal Police Records/Office Manager. Performs a variety of clerical support duties for the Yurok Tribal Police Department. The Administrative Support Specialist will act as point of initial contact to the public, greeting people at the front desk and answering telephone calls. The Administrative Support Specialist will also monitor and log calls for service, transmit calls for service over the radio, and direct field units. ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT SPECIALIST is responsible for accuracy in all applicable procedures, confidentiality, electronic filing, data entry, and serves as the point of contact for the department. This position may include weekend and evening work.

Wildlife Department 
 

Job Title: Condor Wildlife Technician III 

Salary: $18.78 - $26.97

Reports to: Biologist I,II/Senior Biologist/Director

Position Summary: Employee will contribute to and provide oversight and management of daily field operations related to condor restoration in Yurok country, with direct supervision from a Biologist I, Biologist II, or Senior Wildlife Biologist. The duties of this position are comprised of fieldwork and office work associated with condor tracking, care, and management; associated data collection and recording; biological sample collection and management; community outreach; and facility maintenance. Staff will be lead of a core field team, contributing to field management activities but also conducting supervisory oversight of lower-level technicians, interns, and volunteers primarily in support condor restoration. Position requires work during various times of the day and night, is likely to require some rotating and multi-day overnight shifts including requiring camping in remote areas and is likely to include working typically one but occasionally both days over the weekend, as the lead of one of multiple teams providing 7-day-per-week management of condors. There may be opportunities to support other Wildlife Department programs and projects if schedule and funding allows.
